About Me

Hello! I'm Alaena, an 18-year-old girl obsessed with writing, reading, drawing, anime, manga, and...wallpapers. I love wallpapers; I have enough of them that I change the one on my desktop with my mood, and thus, I am forever grateful to the wonderful people who make them. I'm afraid I'm sort of a beggar among geniuses here, though, since I'm really, really new to this whole wallpaper-making thing, but I hope I can learn from my mistakes and find a place here. I've learned a lot since I first joined this site, but I'm still a newbie. My first wallpaper, if I am utterly honest, was made almost entirely in Microsoft Paint (yes, that cursed program) with a little bit of tinting in a prehistoric photo editor whose only real use was resizing and tinting images. It also made the most reasonably-sized, best-quality .JPEG files that I've ever seen, but that's another matter. Now I have GIMP and Photoshop, and I still have a lot to learn.
